Does anyone have a resource or link or any kind of information on how to effectively use the Internet to increase the number of people who come to an event? We'd like to get the word "out there" about The Springs, but I need some help.
I don't know if this is quite what you're looking for, but one suggestion I have it to send an evite (email invitation) to all members who you have an email address for. This is a free service. You can view their website at http://www.evite.com/ I've received evites for bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, we've moved, housewarmings, and even my alumni association. Also my church has a website, and a blog for women's ministry. On our women's blog we share about up coming events and send emails to all women we have email addresses for just to have them visit the blog for details and encourage them to attend. I'll be sure to post any other suggestions I think of.
